We are very excited to announce that the world’s largest Sports Air Dome is now up! This Double Skin Fabric Structure measures some 150m (l) x 100m (w) x 26m (h) and houses a full size GAA pitch, extensive Gym Facilities, a 130m Indoor Running Track, Internal Performance Testing Facilities and will be able to seat over 600 spectators for competitive fixtures (when safe to do so in the future/post Covid).
A massive congratulations to Brendan Heaney and his team for delivering this remarkable Sports Infrastructure project on the site of the Connacht GAA ‘Centre of Excellence’!
Many generations to come will now have full immunity from the traditional barrage of abuse so often dished out in the past for kicking a ball around inside.
