The works located at Roveagh, Kilcolgan Co. Galway, consisted of the replacement of the existing pressure distribution watermain pipes with new and upsized pipeline. It involved the supply and installation of 6,453 linear metres of 160mm, 110mm and 63mm outside diameter PE100 SDR17 watermain. The works also included the replacement of all existing sluice valves, hydrants, scour valves and the construction of new bulk flow meters and new customer meters.
