Vartry Water Treatment Plant

The Vartry Water Supply Scheme provides drinking water for over 200,000 people.

With historical significance, it was developed by Dublin Corporation in the 1860s and includes two reservoirs, a water treatment plant, a 4km tunnel under Callowhill and 40km of trunk mains that deliver water to storage reservoirs at Stillorgan in Dublin.

Leixlip Water Treatment Plant

TOBIN Consulting Engineers was appointed as Client’s Representative for the Stage 5 expansion of the Leixlip Water Treatment Plant. The expansion, with a capital cost of approximately €30 million, included the construction of a state of the art “stand-alone” facility, on a site adjacent to the existing treatment infrastructure with a capacity of 80Ml/d plant which, when combined with the existing facilities (175Mld), brought the total potential peak capacity of the entire plant to 225Ml/d.

Donegal Waste Water Treatment Scheme – Group A

TOBIN Consulting Engineers were appointed by BAM Civil Ltd. to prepare the Design, Drawings and Details for the Civil Engineering Works and the Structural Engineering Works at three wastewater plants including Donegal, Ballyshannon and Rossnowlagh.
