Joe holds the position of Project Hydrogeologist with TOBIN’s Environment and Planning section. Since graduating from the University of Birmingham in 2016 with a MSc in Hydrogeology, he has worked in consultancies in the UK and Ireland, focussing primarily on groundwater resources. Joe has extensive experience in the delineation of source protection zones/zones of contribution; reviewing, processing and quality assuring large hydrometric monitoring datasets; borehole drilling; as well as the supervision and reporting of groundwater sampling and analysis.

Since joining TOBIN in 2019, Joe has contributed to a variety of projects including the assessment of regional groundwater potential for the exploration and development of new groundwater resources; the remediation and development of existing groundwater sources around Ireland; and the development of source protection plans for public water supplies.
