Cornelis (Kees) is a Senior Design Engineer in TOBIN’s Civil |Design Build | Water (CDBW) Division in the Castlebar Office. He is professionally registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa and has 12 years experience working on projects with water and wastewater infrastructure designs and solutions, as well as surge analysis, KYPipe, surveying, Autodesk Civil3D and Revit.

Since moving to Ireland in January 2020, he has gained experience working on the infrastructure design for housing estates (roads, water, wastewater and stormwater). He has dealt with local authorities and Irish Water, managing the design and tender of projects and he has recently spent some time seconded in Irish Water dealing with new connections applications.

Outside the office, Kees enjoys exploring Ireland’s beautiful landscapes, growing bonsai and general DIY builds.
