Mark joined TOBIN from CH2M London, where he was European Sales Director for their Building Engineering related ‘Industrial and Advanced Technology’ (I&AT) division, which employs around 200 Staff in the UK. Prior to joining CH2M, he has worked as an Associate Director (Structural Engineering) with the Robert Bird Group, and with ARUP where notably he project managed and led, over a period of six years, the structural engineering design of Heron Tower, which is one of London’s tallest and most prestigious buildings.
Mark qualified as a Structural Engineer at the University of Glamorgan and subsequently received his Doctorate from the same University. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers and a member of the Institute of Industrial Designers. In addition Mark is a Fellow of London’s South Bank University where he serves as Chair of its Industrial Advisory Board. Mark also acts as an advisor to the Trade Commissioner of the ‘Canadian High Commission on Structural Engineering and Tall Buildings’ and is an expert Technical Panel Member of the Council for Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.
Outside of work, Mark is a keen runner and recently completed the 2016 London Marathon.
