Natalie DuncanSenior Hydrogeologist - Environment & Planning

    Natalie joined TOBIN’s Environment and Planning division in 2023 as a Senior Hydrogeologist in our Dublin Office. She graduated with an MSc in Earth Science from Utrecht University in 2012 and is a Professional Member (PGeo) of the Institute of Geologists Ireland and a member of the International Association of Hydrogeologists.

    Natalie is an experienced hydrogeologist (10+ years experience), with extensive knowledge of groundwater resource assessments and environmental hydrogeology. She has successfully planned, coordinated and executed numerous fieldwork and mapping projects across Ireland, working for Bord na Móna Environmental Ltd. and as an independent consultant for Geological Survey Ireland.

    Natalie was an integral member of the Geological Survey’s “GW3D” project team (2015-2022) that successfully mapped, assessed, and characterised groundwater resources to build hydrogeological conceptual models. This included detailed investigations of sand and gravel aquifers and karst aquifers across Ireland, and systematic quantitative and qualitative assessments of groundwater resources in the East of Ireland.

    In her spare time, Natalie likes to spend time with family and friends, and taking on random pursuits which have included woodwork, gymnastics, choir, adventure races and acting.
